Congratulations to the 2021 Community & Business Awards winners

In 2020 it was even more important than ever to take the time to celebrate the very best in Smithers' business leaders - the leaders who have continued to support the community despite facing so much uncertainty. The Community and Business Awards have always encouraged and inspired businesses to do their best, and 2020 was no exception.

We all appreciate that 2020 was a year like no other in this century. Dealing with a global pandemic has not been easy for anyone. Despite the challenges, the Smithers District Chamber of Commence believed it was important to recognize those who have contributed positively to our economy and community.

As with so many ceremonies and events this past year, it was necessary to shift the awards ceremony to virtual via Zoom and Facebook Live. The ceremony was held on November 25, 2020.
