  • BC Chamber Focuses on the need for reform of Local Government - Business leaders representing Chambers of Commerce from across BC gathered in Vancouver May 27-29th for the BC Chamber of Commerce Annual General Meeting & Conference and endorsed a motion for the BC Chamber to instruct the government that reform of local government is a priority for the business community.   • BC Chamber of the Year and Honorable Mention announced - The Chamber of the Year Award is the most prestigious award presented to a member chamber of the British Columbia Chamber of Commerce. Read the full press release here.
  • Businesses search for workers in their "Third Quarter" - The BC Chamber of Commerce has joined business leaders across Canada and renamed an entire generation in a bid to help more employers find and hire experienced workers who are only in the “third quarter” of their lives.   • Hudson’s Hope, April 19, 2010 – Chambers of Commerce from across the province today welcomed the B.C. Government announcement that it will be implementing the Site C Clean Energy Project. Site C will be the third hydro-electric dam on the Peace River and, once built, is expected to operate for 100 years. Read the full press release here.
  • The Small Business Roundtable is committed to the interests of small businesses in British Columbia and has just released their Annual Report to Government.
